ABSTRACT
The study examined the impact of newspaper
advertisement in an Organisation using
Unilever Plc, Apapa Lagos as a case study. Newspaper advertisement is very
unique because is a permanent medium of communication and readers from all
works of life who come across the newspaper can be opportuned to see the
advertisement. The researcher adopted survey research method and adopted
questionnaire to elicit data from the selected respondents who were drawn using
non-probability method. The data collected were analysised using frequency and
percentage tables. It is recommended that Unilever Plc should use other media
to complement newspapers campaign and also use extensive illustrations to break
the illiteracy barrier created by letters.
