ABSTRACT
This study examines the impact of top
rank hotels profitability through advertising in NTA Enugu. The fact that
advertising for businesses and brands in the 21st century has been imperatively
increasing and therefore cannot be overemphasized. Quantitative research design
was used in which cross-sectional survey method was adopted while the data
collection instrument was questionnaire. Findings of the study have shown that advertising
on NTA by the management of Top Rank Hotels have substantially improved the
hotels’ fortunes over the years and still massive market benefits for them
today. It is safe to conclude that given the cosmopolitan nature of the hotels
location, and its proximity to the NTA channel 8, Enugu, perceived supposed partnership between the two establishments is by
evidence a worthy venture. Also given, the hotel, even annual profit index, the
management has no reason not to give optimum attention to advertising on NTA
channel 8, Enugu. It is therefore recommended that advertising
be given utmost priority in the marketing drive and customer based building of
the hotel.
